KidZone Museum Day Camps 2010 include:

Jewelry and Metalwork
July 19-July 23
Students will explore basic metal forging including stamping, texturing, and riveting to create mixed media metal pendants using resin, found objects, and semiprecious stones. Students will learn the ancient art form of Kumihimo braiding. During this workshop we will construct earrings, bracelet, and/or necklace using a variety of assembly techniques.

Sierra Hiking and Art Camp (New!)

July 19 – July 23

Students will explore a variety of art media while hiking local trails. Students will create art projects using watercolors, oil pastels, paper making, sand painting and nature journaling while exploring the local wildflowers, ecology and watershed of the Sierra. *Please note that maximum age has been extended to include children ages 6-10. Sierra Watershed Science
Session 1: July 12-July 16
Session II: July 26 -July 30
A favorite outdoor exploration camp where students hike local watersheds and learn about the animals, water purity, and botany providing them with interesting science observations skills. Transportation required to various locations.

Farm Camps
Session I: July 12-15, Plants, Dirt & Worms

Session II: July 26-29, Bugs and Bees

Session III: August 2-August 5, Vegetable Gardens

Session 1V: August 16-August 19, Farms & Animals

Hands on exploration and investigation of farming, growing, composting, natural plants, hikes etc. Your child will be inspired to learn through creative play and discovery. Please bring snack, water bottle and a sun hat. Transportation required to various locations.

KidZone Family Camp at Sagehen Creek

August 20-August 22

Enjoy camping & exploring with the family ~ we do the cooking and the planning!
Spend 3 days/2 nights at the Sagehen Field Station star gazing, exploring insects and snakes, creating arts and crafts, and exploring nature with the kids. Fun
for the entire family!
