The Best Family Event in Tahoe!
July 7th, 7am - 4pm at the Truckee Tahoe Airport
The 2012 Inaugural Truckee Tahoe AirFair & Family Festival, to take place on July 7, from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Truckee Tahoe Airport, is a FREE event featuring static aircraft displays; pilot docents; aircraft flybys; free Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagle flights for children ages 8 to 17 (with parental permission), live music, kids activities and festival, food court, beer garden, airport souvenirs, vendors and much more family fun.
The Truckee Tahoe Airport District is the “Golden Wings” Sponsor of this event, sponsoring all operational costs to produce this event for our community.
The AirFair & Family Festival volunteer committee includes local non-profit organizations: Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1073, KidZone Museum and the Truckee Optimist Club. This fundraising event replaces the well-know annual Tahoe Family Festival and Truckee Optimist Club’s Cannibal Cruise.
