KidsReach ~
Free Bus to KidZone Museum

The goal of our nationally awarded KidsReach program is to provide all children in our region the ability to visit the Museum, participate in our educational programs, and encourage families of various local cultures to interact. We do this by providing free classes taught by bilingual teachers and free bus service from Kings Beach and Truckee to and from the Museum. KidsReach provides the connection between KidZone Museum and our diverse community.

Thanks to Placer County First Five and the Institute of Museum and Library Services for providing us with the support for this program.

Free Bus Schedule

Our summer pick up schedule for free transportation from Kings Beach to the Museum is as follows:
Thursdays: 9:30 a.m NTFRC
Saturday: 12:00 p.m. NTFRC. For a comprehensive schedule of our other stops, contact Illeana at guestservices@kidzonemuseum.org

For the past year, Sulay Rodelo has faithfully brought her 3 year-old son, Rigoberto, to the KidZone Museum every Thursday. She relies on the museum's free transportation from Kings Beach. Rigo is excited to come to the museum every week, and he and his mom know that KidZone is a great place for exploration and making discoveries through play. It is families like the Rodelos that inspire KidZone Museum to continue to provide programming that is accessible to all children in our community.
